Hi allWas just wondering if anyone has any feedback or experience with vaginal estrogen pills? I can't even cope with Dr's/smears touching down there so not in the least interested in trying them.

Estradiol is given in vaginal tablet form and they are tiny. They go in a long thin applicator so are inserted similarly to thrush treatment.

Thank you so much for replying. Wow I had no idea these existed. Are they more effective use this way compared to other forms?

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that. I'm having it there because of menopausal vaginal dryness and I also take utrogestan because it protects your womb when on extra oestrogen. I have an excellent menopause dr and this is through a hospital referral. I guess it depends why you need it as to the best way to take it. Sorry to not be more help.

I appreciate your help and reply and wish you well. I'm 45 and stage 4 endometriosis so unsure if it's been offered to me because of the endometriosis or if I'm in menopause

I’ve used them, I was told I didn’t have to use the applicator so I could just use my finger and was much easier, they’re tiny. I have a lot of physical problems from severe birth injuries but it was fine to use these even with my physical injuries
