Hi Tina, I hear how frustrating it is for you. I've been there too. I was on Decapeptyl injections and the Everol patches for about 4 months before I had my hysterectomy. I had adenomyosis so it may be slightly different, but yes I had the spotting (sometimes brown, sometimes pink or red) every single day. Sometimes I'd have bleeding as though I was having a period (although much less heavy than my usual insane periods). I don't know if it was the decapeptyl or the patches causing it. My suspicion was that it was the patches, as I'd had similar problems when I'd tried the pill. I don't know if there are other options available for you, but I suppose I'm just replying to say that you're not alone in experiencing those symptoms while on decapeptyl and Everol. It absolutely sucks I know. 😕
Hi Thankyou so much for replying and sharing your story , glad I’m not alone
I tried Decapeptyl alone with no hrt a few years back and gave up because of menopause side effects , but I didn’t get any bleeding or pain so I’m guessing it’s the hrt this time that’s the issue
I’m going to email my consultants secretary to see what she suggests doing
This is normal. These drugs work differently for everyone and a lot of women still bleed or spot regularly on them. It could be the HRT but you probably wouldn't want the mental side effects of these drugs that occurr without HRT. I'm on month 9 of zoladex and I bleed every week.
