I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in May when I have a large chocolate cyst removed. Im still in horrendous pain and have been on Triptorolin injections (GnRH) for 5.5 months. The pain seemed to be getting slightly better - well manageable until 3 weeks ago when I started on HRT (Sandrena 0.5mg per day), the doctors started me on this as my hot sweats are keeping me awake every night so im only managing about 2 hrs a night. The painhas now come back with a vengeance since starting HRT. Does anyone know whether this is normal and it will settle down again as im at my wits end, as I felt like I was getting a bit better and now im in lots of pain again? On top of this, I can't get a consultant appointment until July this year which means I will have been on my triptorolin (GnRH) for 10.5 months when the recommended time is 6 months, so need advise about whether this is safe ? Any help would be great. Thank you

Hi honey, I am so sorry for your pain. To be very honest, I have never listened to doctors 100%. I listen to my body more. I was in a bad shape upto few years ago. But I started with pills that was discontinued then I got merina IUD Inserted. But before all this I was taking ENDOVAN from Komodo pharmaceuticals. I did my research and took chances. I would say the endovan helped me, and after the pills that got discontinued had helped me a lot. And merina IUD did truolble me for a little while and still does but the pain is bearable. But I know the day merina comes out I will be in imbearable pain and clots. I say so because after 4 years of iud I went through hell for two months. So compared to that pain I can take other side effects.
Many thanks for your reply. Did you ever have the injections (GnRH) or did you just try Endovan ? do they cause side effects? Do you think I should not have anymore injections and try Endovan instead ?
I did have hormone injections after laparoscopy. I don’t remember the name, but that created havoc on me with hot flushes and and internal disturbances. I have never taken that again and it’s been 10 years. Endovan is kind of herb but not FDA approved but I took my chances anyway. It’s better than those injections. Try and see what suits you I would say each body is different. I hope that helps
