did anyone else get really bad knee pain after their lap? i had my first yesterday, (and granted i have fibromyalgia and painful knees anyway) and my knees hurt a LOT more than usual when i’ve been active or been in bed all day, i’m wondering if when ive been laid down with my knees slightly elevated if some of the gas pain is in my knees? as that’s really what it feels like! it’s odd, just wondering if anyone else experienced it x

It is likely from how they’ve positioned you during your surgery. I had robotic excision in Feb and was tilted during my surgery so had more pain in my shoulders but also in my hips. I wouldn’t worry too much but if it continues, do seek advice from your GP.

How are you feeling after op apart from your knee?

I’d think the same, likely position during op or after when in recovery and it’s pulled a muscle in your thigh. Have you a heat pad you can put in n your thigh and knee?

Not what you're looking for?
