I had excision surgery on 6th October and haven’t stopped bleeding since. I then saw my specialist who did a hysteroscopy on Friday just gone and my pain has gotten worse. I’ve taken pain meds and nothing is touching it. I’m so tired of the pain. Is it normal for it to hurt and the bleeding to get heavier and more painful after a hysteroscopy?
Thanks in advance x

Hello I had a hysteroscopy and bled for a couple of days after, I didn’t feel pain as had a lap at the same time and I was on tramadol. I would maybe get in touch with your GP to get advice and maybe stronger painkillers xx 💛
I’ve just moved home 2 weeks ago and I don’t currently have a GP. I need to register at the surgery.
The pain on my right side is really bad. Got horrendous back ache near my kidney and also ovary pain on the same side. I’ve taken some diclofenic and codeine. The bleeding has also gotten worse since the hysteroscopy and it’s getting heavier day by day I thought surgery would help - I’m barely feeling the benefit anymore xx
So sorry to hear - you always have the NHS24 option if you feel you need help 💛I am currently on tranexamic acid and northisterone for very heavy bleeding so there is some medication to help xx
I’m on nexplanon implant and norithestrone and I’m now on day 60 of this current bleed. It’s debilitating. I can’t take the pain. I just spoke to a private GP as I am lucky enough to have private healthcare. She is worried about infection so said I need to go see someone in person and if the pain gets any worse to go to a&e to check for infection xx
Feel worse. The pain is making me feel dizzy. Gonna try register with a GP today and get an emergency apt - if I can’t then I’ll ask my partner to take me to a&e x
