I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy last Thursday where it was found (and treated) I had a large fibroid plus endometriosis.
First day or two I had small amount of bleeding but since yesterday it's really heavy and I need to wear two pads as bleeding though quickly. Anyone know if this is normal? I wondered if it's potentially to do with the clexane I'm still injecting?
Thanks

You need to call the ward you were on for advice, you should not be bleeding this heavy after surgery, they should have give you the contact info on discharge
I agree. Get medical advice. For reference, when people are miscarrying they say if you bleed through a pad in less than two hours then there is a problem.
Cardiff_shell.. This might sound like a silly question but are you based/having treatment in Cardiff? If you are, there is a specialist nurse in UHW who you can call and speak to any time for advice or information, I've never met her but she was fantastic over the phone for me when I was bleeding heavily after my lap. I can give her name if it's applicable for you, if not this is a pretty pointless suggestion!
Thank very much. I am based in Cardiff but having treatment privately. Seen a nurse anyway and no concern - thinks it might be too much moving around yesterday but as it's now eased a bit they'll see me again in the morning when I have my stitches out.
