Lumps in belly button after laparoscopic surgery

Hi,

I am just over 2 weeks post op from my excision of endometriosis surgery, and I was wondering if anyone had come across this with their belly button after laparoscopic surgery and may know what it could be and if it’s something I need to get checked out.

the lump is gradually getting bigger. My first surgery my belly button was completely fine but this time it looks quite abnormal and is painful.

I have attached a picture and it’s quite hard to explain what it looks like

hello I had an infection in my belly button after surgery, I would definitely get that checked out with the nurse. Mine was sore and itchy and had yellow stuff oozing out 🤮

hey, mine started off really bloody, itchy and sore. Then I went to the out of hours GP who cleaned it all and then gave me antibiotics, at this point there was no lumps, then a few days later a small lump formed and it’s just getting bigger.

I will get it checked out just to be on the safe side

Yeah that's infected gunning, please go to your doctors for cleaning and antibiotics
