Pre-op Assessment

Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with suspected endometriosis. I have what looks like two endometriomas growing on my left ovary and I’m having a laparoscopy to have then removed. I just got a letter for a pre-op assessment but I have no surgery date yet. How long after pre-op is surgery usually?

I had my pre-op the 2nd of May and had no surgery date even on the day of my pre-op got a call last week saying to come in for my surgery on the 22nd of May

hi can I ask where about in the country you’re based? I’m in the northwest and our waiting lists are super long for surgery. Best of luck with your surgery. I was recently told a pre-op can last up to 6months

Pre ops are valid for 12 weeks so should be in that timeframe for you
