How long from pre op to surgery?

Hi all. Just a quick question. Can any of you remember how long after pre op you had your surgery please? (Particularly at nnuh hospital). I have my pre op through for 10th April and just wondering on time scale. It’s for a full hysterectomy and removal of endo x

Pre ops cover you for up to 6 months, so it depends on how busy your hospital is.

I had my pre op 10th jan and had the op 6th March - was told my pre op assessment would last 3 months.

I had my pre op 2 weeks before my op.

The advice I had said between two weeks to three months before. However if there's a significant change or medical issues that can cause change they can ask for repeat tests (another pre op) closer to the time / delay the op so the pre op can be repeated.

I had my preop in Oct and still waiting! Fingers crossed its early April but they'v cancelled me twice already so not getting my hopes up!
