Pre op assessment today!!!

Hello all! After a long long wait!!! I have my Pre op assessments today for my laparoscopy at 2:30pm! What am I expecting? Anything I should be asking them? (No date for my surgery yet though ) ☹️

It went well! They took bloods, samples and BP! They gave me leaflets to read about the surgery etc… just waiting for a date now! Very excited about surgery because I’ve been waiting such a long time for this but so so nervous 😣😣 X

Hi , after pre assessment it will only take 2 weeks but before that they should have booked you for PCR test ? Once they done your PCR test and you are good go it won’t be so late.

I had my pre assessment 26 oct . Covid test 8th November morning and 10 November my surgery has been done .

Yeah for some reason they’ve done all my backwards they said I’ve gotta go to the hospital 3 days before my surgery to do a test and then self isolate until my surgery! X

Thats the thing . After covid test need to self isolate. Will be fine
