Hi,

I’m doing some of my own problem solving as closer to my periods the tiredness and pain gets worse, just wondering if anyone has any idea on what vitamins are ‘good’ for endo or will help me with my tiredness - my doctors are not the best for advice which i understand cause it’s not a topic everyone understands so i can’t even ask them and google has a lot of different answers!

thank you so much, hope everyone is okay too x

I don't think any vitamins will affect your endo but sometimes endo can make your iron supplies low and could make you anaemic but you would need a blood test to check that but most people in the UK have a vitamin D deficiency in and after the winter months due to the lack of sunlight. That can also make you feel tired so you could try some vit D supplements but for the iron you ned to see a doc and get checked as you shouldn't take iron supplements unless you really need them.

Hi Ashley! As Avourneen has said, endo can be a cause of low iron so it may be worth checking your iron levels with your GP with a blood test. If you struggle with sleep, magnesium tablets can be a big help. Some people find they can cause stomach issues. I take them daily and haven’t experienced this, but it’s worth bearing in mind! The other two daily vitamins I take are Omega 3 and B12. I mainly just take these because I’m a veggie, but I have found that my energy levels have increased a lot since I started taking them a few months ago (I believe B12 is especially good for fatigue). Hope you’re doing well and you find some vitamins that work for you! X

Aside from what’s already been mentioned I also take turmeric with black pepper capsules. I don’t know if they help but turmeric is believed to be an anti-inflammatory and black pepper is meant to increase it’s absorption.

Hi, I really recommend getting a free nutritional consultation with Wild Nutrition. Their Endo supplement has noticeably eased my symptoms although it is early days. I also take their Ashwaganda and Magnesium supplement. I take Solgars Gentle Iron (Iron Bisglycinate) as it is a lot easier on the tummy and more easily absorbed than the forms of iron my doctors prescribe. Higher Nature do a good Omegas supplement and a good Vitamin D3 (Wild Nutrition’s D3 looks to be very good but it’s more expensive). I’ve had to go without treats and luxuries to be able to afford these supplements but it’s been worth it for me personally. Good luck x

Have you looked into Sea Moss? If your tiredness is from your iron levels being low it should help. I've definitely noticed an improvement in my own wellness and tiredness levels (I've been on Sea Moss since January)
