Constant bleeding... Help?!

Hello,

Bit of a back story I have been suffering with period bleeding for 3 1/2 weeks and then about 3 days break every single month, I have been trying for a baby for about over a year +, i have been on the pill and injection when I was younger for about 2 months but it really didn't mix when with me. I have been off that for about 5-6 years. I don't really suffer with any cramps or abdominal pain, just sciatica in my hip and leg frequently which could be something else.

for over 4 years roughly doctors have given me tranexamic acid on and off which has worked for a period of time but now isn't really working, I am Just getting fed up and bogged down with it now and now I'm getting older too so I have decided to do something about this and keep at them and try to get something sorted!

doctor's have tested for for all sorts (blood tests) was really low on iron but that has gone up and i have now stopped having blood clots the size of golf balls. but still having constant bleeding. i have now just had a scan and transvaginal scan and it come back fine but said it could be a blood clot on the scan or small polyp, but because of my age and the size of it, it was fine if it was a polyp.

Finally i have been referred to gynae as these appointments are like gold dust I really don't want to waste it as such, is there any question that i should be asking going through the above? what should i expect for my first appointment, the letter didn't state how long the appointment is or that they will be doing an inspection, so now sure what will happen. Hope you can help me as it is very much so appreciated!! 🙃

I had constant bleeding for 3 months at time and then a break and then it continued this was while I was on pill. I don’t know if it was due to previous confirmed endo but the GP sent for pelvic exams and scans and then referred to gyno all very quickly. I ended up having a second a lap (5yrs after the first) where they confirmed endo came back and put the coil in as the pill had stopped helping. My pain was not at the level it was for the surgery but they said with the amount of bleeding no signs on scans the lap was the best option, and as a bonus endo was removed before it developed even further and got to the same pain level
