Surgical menopause - HRT and cutting patches

HeyI had a oophorectomy in June, struggled to get the right balance of estrogen. Finally put on the 100mg patches which have made a difference in terms of I'm not a complete emotional wreck and can function with life better.

But I have gained so much weight, I've gone up nearly two dress sizes since my surgery. My boobs are so, so tender. I can mentally function now but still not where I was. Still have no memory and cognitive function is limited.

I want to know I've heard of people cutting patches, could it be that I need say 85 or 90 not 100 for my body? Is it that sensitive? I think if my boobs are this sore I am probably having too much estrogen?

I feel like I've bounced from noone understanding endo for years to now noone understanding the menopause!

Thanks anyone that can offer advice!

Di you still have a uterus and are you taking any progestin with it?

What have your oestradiol levels been when tested?

Hey thanks for replying.

I don't have a uterus, I'm also progesterone. Haven't had my bloods taken since the increase to the 100 patch
