Still waiting for a date for my laparoscopy after I’m being cancelled. I was booked in the week after lock down started 😔
Can anyone suggest anything different for pain relief? I’m in constant pain at the moment it’s usually just with a flare up but this last few weeks have been agonising! I’m taking kapake for pain relief and using hot water bottles. It’s also started more around my bladder too so when I need a wee the pain is horrible and as I’m having a wee it’s like my bladder is almost cramping? Then eases off until I need a wee again. Same with bowel movements which before I have one can be excruciating. Does anyone else get this?
Thanks

I had these pains for a long time sadly. The laparoscopy should help as it will free the endo from around your bladder and bowel. Try to keep moving as much as possible, which I know is really difficult when you are in pain, but the more active you can be the better. I wish I had a magic wand to fix it for you!
Thank you so much! It’s so hard isn’t it when it becomes constant. I work full time in a busy nursery so it’s so hard when you can’t stop and take a minute x
I know that feeling, but have to take stuff as well currently.
Hopefully you won’t run into any issues.
Hi yes, I get this too. Pain when passing urine and sometimes after I have emptied my bladder too, it's a short sharp pain. Pain and bleeding while on my period - moving my bowels too.
I have scar tissue and fibrosis between my bowel and uterus. I'm waiting for my laparoscopy in Newcastle. I hope yours goes well. Prayers go with you.. God bless. 💛🙏🏻
