I'm so sorry you're having such a tough time, I can absolutely empathise. I completely agree with the suggestion about CBD oil, it is a natural anti-inflammatory and really helps. Start small on a low dose and work your way up, everyone is different and it may take trial and error but it does help. Go for a high quality one though!
Do you have a heated pad? They plug in and you can lay on them. Absolute LIFESAVERS.
Totally agree with TENS. In my experience the expensive ones are a total waste of money, they don't work as well as they claim. Just get a basic cheap TENS and use that love. Try get one with 4 sets of electrodes rather than 2, covers more area.
Have you tried the FODMAP diet yet? It isn't a cure but can REDUCE symptoms which are gastrointestinal, as well as reducing inflammation in the body. Works for some and not for others. But if you can't do the full FODMAP diet I would recommend finding out if certain foods trigger more pain and eliminate them from your diet. You could trial 1 thing each week and just see how you get on. Helped me a smidge!
Pain relief I'm not sure what country you're in, are you in England? Different countries have different meds.
Have you tried any yoga for endometriosis? It can really help with pelvic pain! There's free ones on YouTube
Mindfulness has really helped me a lot to be honest, it hasn't got rid of the pain. But when I am in pain I can emotionally cope better, and keeping calm helps to keep the pain in check a bit. Breathing through it and reminding yourself that it will pass, it will calm down, not every day will be like this. Be kind to yourself and have a rest!
Also, depending on country again, please speak to your boss. You shouldn't be being treated that way! If your boss isn't helpful then a union rep would be a good idea, or an employment rights or disability rights advice agency. Bullying is ILLEGAL. Bullying due to disability is ILLEGAL and classed as discrimination. Hold your head up high and do not let them get to you. You have a chronic and incurable health condition, it is not in your head, it is NOT just a bad period. Endometriosis is much more than that.
Please know you're not alone and we have all been where you are now. Xxx
Sorry to hear that.Food changes can help avoid dairy, sugar, caffine and red meat etc.I believe nothing is better than hot water bottle.TENS did not work for me.You can ask your gyne to try something else if progestrone only does not help you.
Also in Pak usually dctrs given Vitamin D injections or high dose tablets to over come pain intensity.Discuss this option to your dctr as well.
Yeah its an evil disease and we have to live with that .Stay strong and do not over stress yourself it makes your symtoms worst.Anything else you want me to ask,you can dm me anytime.
I know there is no single consultant or hospital there for endo.
Having a bad pain had to take iv pain killer and after that I almost fainted
Excused myself from work
Yes I’m on dietary changes and quite a lot of things have been deducted as per my lifestyle medicine specialist
I’m taking vitamin D injections once a month and then oral supplements
Tens will look for if I get a cheap option here in my country
And I’m not in uk or any developed country
Electric heat pads ???
Are they safe can anyone recommended some brand or something
I am afraid of electric ones if you have used then must be good
I think I just can’t get over the fact that my gynaecologist saw endometriotic tissue during my C section and didn’t even touch it didn’t even remove it just stitched me up
For what did She leave when she saw and how delibilating it is
Well laproscopy is not a sudden deccided procedure, your gyne should'nt trained for these type of surgery that is why she left it and it wise othewise few untrained dctrs operate it and make it more worst. In this matter yes you are lucky not to treated by untrained professional.
I like to add another thing.I know there is no endo specialist hospital but you can ask ur doctr to reffer MRI or diagnostic laproscopy .Just a diagnostic one because they can't do the actual one.At least you know which stage is it and how much is spreeded.Wish you a pain free time....
So sorry to hear that! Is your gynae able to offer laprascopic surgery to help to remove any endometriosis and adhesions / scarring that you may have as a result. This can help in the short - medium term to cope with pain. A pain medication review is a must also!
