Anyone got advice for severe back pain?

I have been in the house for over a week in a lot of pain from my lower back. It started with my period but hasn’t went away and it is stopping me from doing everything. It started on my lower right side of the back but now is on the tailbone. It is sending shooting pains down my right leg and a lot of pain in my hips. I have tried pain killers and heat but nothing is helping. If you have any advice please let me know!!😊

Hey Sky342,

So sorry you are going through this honestly feel your pain! I went through a similar thing recently with my really bad flare up during my period, but luckily it has settled down and feel better now!

I dunno about you but I found that sort of pain I couldn’t sleep much at all, but I tried sitting up and putting pillows around to support my back helped a bit as I wasn’t putting so much weight on my back. Try that and see how that feels.

Sorry I can’t be much help as I am fairly new to this and trying out different things at the mo ❤️ Xxx

Aww it is awful isn’t it! I was exactly the same so I ended up sitting up on the corner of my sofa with pillows around me and I did eventually nod off but it’s never the same as being in your own bed!

Hope you feel better soon lovely ❤️

I’m going through the same thing for over two weeks now, mine is left sided which is my worse side for endo. It’s a dull ache with electric shock pains at random that go down my leg. My left hip also hurts and my back feels like it’s getting stiffer where I’m not doing my normal daily activities. I’m taking codeine and using an electric heat pad which makes me comfortable when sitting at least, but I’m 40 feeling 90 right now and so frustrated I can’t do things I usually doSending hugs ♥️

Hi I had this end of last year and only thing have helped was heat and acupuncture. Not sure if that's something you have access to put if you can try a few sessions it really helps!

Hi, really sorry you are suffering - a couple of years ago i got this - paingone.com/product/paingo... - for the same reason (i think i was sleeping in weird positions too) but it actually really helped, i still use it sometimes!

HeyIve had this and ended up in hospital they classed it as endo flare

I was given heat packs, morphine, dihydrocodine along with paracetamol it did eventually settle

I have noticed a pattern if i get the shooting oains down the leg then im in for a time of it also when im in bed if pain is so severe i blast my hairdryer on my legs for instant heat - short relief but gave me some relief

Goodluck hope ur painfree soon x
