Hi all, hope everyone has had a good Christmas and looking forward to the new year. I'm looking for some advice about endo diet books, my surgery should have happened this month but due to covid cases it was cancelled 4 days before 😒 now looking at January 🤞 but I'm now thinking that in the mean time I'll try and change my diet so hopefully this will have with my recovery, so any advice about endo diets and books would be great, thanks xx

When I've looked at diet, the usual dairy and gluten free, GP suggested low fodmap, there are antinflammatory diets reccommended amongst others. There are some good podcasts as well, Endolife and nutritionist amongst them. Hopefully we'll both hear about surgery soon.

Currently have a chocolate craving even though its making me feel sick 😂I think its silly theyve done a blanket stop again rather taking it a few days at a time as individual hospitals, they've learnt nothing from last year and admissions aren't as high, Sorry high horse again. At least you'll be top of the list when they start, fingers crossed for sooner than later. Mine was next Tuesday, I'm still hoping it will be reinstated at short notice.

Hi Pureunicorn. I recently came upon a recipe book with meal plan included that was written by a nutritionist who focuses on endo. Her Instagram handle is @af_nutrition I believe and its called the Hormone Rebalance Cookbook. Take a look. I'm going to try it so I can attempt to come off the mini-pill as I think it's causing me depression.

Hiya, I highly recommend Endometriosis: A Key to Healing Through Nutrition by Dian Shepperson Mills. She advises on everything from food groups to supplements. Hope it helps! x
