Hi all, following a laparoscopic removal of my ovaries I have a very dry and sore belly button it is an inny button. Is there a cream that any of you that have used. It feels very tight. I have just returned to work, and complete manual handling and on my feet a lot.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Chicken,

Thanks for reaching out, I’m sorry you’re having issues with your button. I’m one of the Endo UK health unlocked moderators. Belly buttons are a perfect host for infection, I would suggest asking your GP before you put anything on this just in case there is an infection. I have had belly button infections a few times after laps, it seems to be quite a common complaint. Hope it clears up soon for you and take care.
