Belly button piercing

I have my first laaroscopy on the 24th Feb. I know one of the incisions they make is at the belly button.. but where?

Will I be able to wear my piercing when I'm healed or will it have been cut open 😞

Hiya

I have my belly button pierced and they haven't ruined it yet! I have had three laps, they go through the inny bit so not visible scarring either! :) xx

Thank you so mch for your reply! I did wonder about it all.

Glad I get to keep it 😊

I've had 2 laps. The first one the incision was right in my belly button, you would never know I'd had it done.

My second (was an emergency lap to remove my appendix) and they cut below my button 😒 With my bar back in I was calling it my Christmas tree!!!

Thank you for replying too! I got it done in the autumn and it's just looking properly healed now. Hopefully it goes back in without too much trouble

With both my laps as soon as the dressing came off my stitches, I put my bar back in.... Upside down... Looks bloody stupid but didn't want it to close over!!

Make sure you disinfect it before you put it back in to avoid infection :)
