Pre surgery question - thanks

Hey!

Has anyone been asked to inject themselves with Dalteparin the day before their surgery?

Were you taught how to do it by a nurse?

Thanks ❤

Hi! I haven't had it prior to any of my laps or other surgery, but I did have to have it for 2 weeks after my emergency section. I'll warn you now - it stings A LOT! And if you bruse easily then good luck!

I wasn't taught how to do them as such, but had 5 days in hospital where the nurse did them every day. I was just sent on my way with a box of injections and a screaming baby 😂
