Well the assessment went well just now got to wait for the surgery date of 13th August to come round - not long to go now!!!

Good luck, I have my assessment next week, what exactly do they do?

Thanks the just check your weight, height and just go through a list of things to check your overall health ie are you allergic to anything. I also had to give a urine sample, do a blood test and mrsa swabs. Hope that helps and good luck for next week x

I've my pre-op tomorrow, I've been for one before but I've clearly blocked it from my memory. For me I have to bring a sample with me - you can get a cup from the hospital or most chemists if they haven't sent you one. They usually just do an internal exam and check various medications and explain what is going to happen. @smiley1 I think you'll have a good op, the 13th Aug is my birthday.
