I have had my laparoscopy (5 months ago now) and am mid way through the 6 month Zoldex implants (not injection, implant. The needle is for an elephant and I'm not over it yet!!). One of my symptoms of endo was back and hip pain but since they lasered and cut a load of it away I thought it would be better but it's only getting worse at the moment. Not sure if it's come back so soon or if it's the Zoladex or if, as my consultant says, it's just a bad back. But then he said I definitely didn't have endo. Then conceded it was 'extensive' when he finally did the surgery. Plus he said it was bad posture but actually it was my left ovary stuck to a ligament on my back. So I don't have looooads of faith in this guy! Anyone else struggling with this or found that Zoldex can increase back and hip pain? It wakes my up in the night now. Just this radiating ache. Also can't bend down to feed the cat. He's not impressed. Thanks! xx
p.s. anyone just starting on Zoladex TAKE YOUR OWN EMLA CREAM! apply at least an hour before. It costs 4 quid from a pharmacy and my nurse only told me as she was giving me the first implant. They don't provide it at my docs but it's an easy and helpful fix!

I just had a conversation with my gynae and told him that the Zoladex wasn't helping and he told me that it means my problem isn't gynaelogical *eye roll*.
I would say that my pain got slightly better but like you I still have trouble bending at the hips. Your cat is gonna have to learn to jump 😆 My pain is like a scraping in my butt/back and a tightness in my pelvis .
I don't have any advice but I was happy that I found someone else who found the Zoladex wasn't helpful! Hope this is helpful for you as well! Xx
Thank you!! It’s such a rollercoaster isn't it? I definitely have endo as they found it when I had my lap (all my insides stuck together, which was a treat) so Zoladex was to, in the words of my consultant, ‘dry you out’. Hmmm. 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe it’s just not working. I also think they don’t know much about it!
A rollercoaster that has been designed by a toddler with a crayon 😆Oh what a lovely way of putting it! I agree that they don't know anything. I read an article and screenshot some bits that I think are relevant especially if your insides were all stuck

I, too, have been on Zoladex(coming to the end of month 3). It was horrendous: major depression for about a fortnight, headaches, nausea-basically all the crap side effects on Google. I wasn’t told about these at the start but it was suggested- like you- that if pain is not reduced by treatment that it ‘may not be gynaecological’.
I have been diagnosed with ‘ severe’ endo and adenomyosis and total hysterectomy is on the cards(yay) but now wondering if the beast will continue to attack me even with all the damaged bits out?
Looking into diet etc and weirdly have found the body prefers more of a bland, almost vegan diet since falling ill in January.
I know I want to get back to the gym and manage stress better when/ if given a new lease of life.
