Hi! I’m wondering if it is normal for the first period after a laparoscopic cyst removal for to be much longer than normal? It started out as dark spotting and then turned to a bright red flow after 5 days. It has remained bright red but is light almost between spotting and an actual period. It’s been 15 days since the bright red flow began. I have had almost no cramping or other symptoms. I’ve read that it takes a few cycles to regulate but I’m wondering if I should be concerned. Has anyone else experienced this?
