Hi lovely, I’ve had the exact same today! Last night had bad pain in my lower back and hips / lower tum which continued to this morning, but then this afternoon had really severe cramps and a really bad upset tum. I’m 2 pills away from the end of my pill pack before I’m meant to have a week break, and find that this tends to happen when I’m due on 😞 they suspect I have endo as well, I have surgery for my first lap booked for august 12th. Have you heard anything regarding your lap? Xx
Oh thankgod I'm away on hols as well thank goodness theres lots of pubs open lol. I'm 2 days away from my cycle im not on anything tried the pill of different kind dont suit tried the coil well that's a story in its self still waiting to hear need to chase them up was in lockdown the consultant agreed to do one. Good luck with urs xxx
Diahorrea may or may not be related but bowel habits can change from runny to constipated with endo also xxx
Thankyou helps so much talking to u all xxx
hi.....how u feeling today.....have you managed to get much rest? xx
Hello iv been on and off dozing most of the day but I'm in agony still the district nurse told me to contact the gp tomorrow and ask for some stronger pain releif but something that's slow releasing so will last longer xxxx
Hope ur ok xx
when i had my lap they gave me a suppository with diclofenac in it, that was slow releasing and helped maybe ask about it.
glad your managing to have little cat naps take care xx
At my worst I would go to the toilet 8-10 times a day but it wouldn’t just be during my period. I would have almost black out sessions of diarrhea where my stomach would cramp so badly. I have ibs as well (plus 14 other conditions) as Endo on my bowels. I just had surgery in February to address stage 4 Endo on my bowels. My rectum was being pulled up as it was stuck to my vagina. Just keep hanging in there. I don’t know what the name of the drug is over there but look up lomatil and see if there’s an equivalent, I’m in Canada. When I was at my worst that drug was a life savor. It’s not something you want to be on for several years because it can make your bowels lazy but for the short term until you can get it sorted.
I no longer get a period which has helped with the diarrhea a lot. I’m on the mirena and lupron shot. I did vissane and bc pills but I was still getting a lot of break through bleeding and pain. I also found out I have thrombocytosis, a blood clotting disorder so I can’t take the pill anymore. I really recommend trying even a few months without it. It will give you a much needed break.
Thank you so much I haven't stopped going in 2 days I dont feel I'll with it just unbelievable cramps then off to the loo I go.
Carnt believe how much u have to deal with on a daily basis u are amazing as are every women that goes through this every day xxxx
You’re too sweet. I have changed a lot in my diet and supplements and have gotten my diarrhea now to only have a bad episode 1-2 times a month.
If you can find a functional medicine specialist they are amazing. Mine found all sorts of problems that were just over looked by other doctors. He’s the reason I’m not running to the toilet anymore. But my food is all home made, I barely use anything processed. No tinned / prepackaged food, lots of fresh fruit and veggies, organic meat, no dairy (except European as it’s not got the a1 protein that North American dairy has), no gluten. Look up the lectin free diet. Start off by removing everything they suggest then slowly start introducing foods in. So say it says no tomatoes but you try it and it doesn’t upset your system then it’s okay to eat, it makes sense. It sucks giving up the good stuff but I suffer when I indulge. I’ve been gluten free for 10 years now.
I get the same too with a bad flare up. Sometimes the pain from my bowel shoots up my back and all round my pelvis like a contraction. I find lots of fibre and fybrogel really helps x
