Is this normal?

Last night I posted that I’m bleeding, had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and I’m not due on for a period for another 3 weeks. Well the bleeding has turned into blood clots and the pain is just agonising. I don’t know if I should be wearing a pad/tampon or what because I keep stopping bleeding for a few hours then bleed really lightly with very heavy spotting in between it all.

Any ideas?

Sorry for that pain you're going through.

I had the same situation few months ago. After my period finished I had sex with my husband and the next day I started having a very heavy bleeding with lots of clots and killing cramps!

I used the heavy bleeding pads, took pain killers and went to see my GP.

I think it's better you go to see your doctor.

Awh thank you. I’m due for surgery soon to try and get a diagnosis of endo. I’m going to have to wait untill the morning to ring up doctors as it’s late at night and only nhs is open. I was planning on ringing them up anyway but within the last few hours is all gotten 10x worse x

I would go to emerg or to your doctor if you can get in quickly. It might be nothing but I wouldn’t risk it.

Rang up doctors earlier they have now put me on hormone tablets to stop the bleeding and then go to my gynaecologist appointment like normal on may 10th to book surgery

Oh it’s um norethisterone 5mg. I haven’t taken them yet and it’s just to stop the irregular bleeding

Update: I’m now bleeding again. I’m getting so fed up of this now anyone got any ideas?
