Anyone's uterus adhered to abdominal wall?

I've been told that on a few occasions by consultants and that it showed on ultrasound.

When I have complained to doctors of this lump on the left of my C-section scar they have said that its just my uterus stuck. However i am not entirely convinced. Because its way too low and right at the front. I feel the lump just under my skin and when i move my hand across my scar i can feel the bulge sort of run across over my scar and then ending up in this hard bulge near the left side of my belly button, just below it. The bladder is at the front so it would make sense for that to be stuck rather than my uterus?

Assuming its my uterus for now, does anyone else have that problem? Have you been told that after a C-section ( if you've had one). How do you cope with this pain? Because mine gets much worse during period that it takes my breath away. They said its because uterus swells during period (?)and probably tugs on adhesions. ><. It almost feels like having a shard of glass stuck there, like raw pain. Have you had surgery and has that been successful? Has it gotten better or worse with time?

I'd appreciate some insight.

I had symptoms exactly as you described after an emergency c-section and it was an endometrioma in my abdominal wall. I would urge you to get a second opinion, preferably with an endo specialist!

My lump was removed by a general gynae, but some was left behind so now I am due to have a lap with a specialist to have a good look round and clear it all out (including adhesions).

Thanks. I have been advised against surgery but i agree that i need them to rethink this uterus stuck diagnosis. It doesn't sound right. Will get another opinion from an endo specialist when this whole Covid-19 thing boils over.

It's fine when i am not on my period. But come period time its so painful that its excruciating to even sneeze or cough.

I'll check it out. What you mentioned sounds about right. ><

I know the feeling, it's so tender. Mine seems to have spread throughout my scar so it's like having a fresh C-section every month, which is fun 😂x

oh dear! Yes, same here. That sounds exactly how i feel. I keep saying the same thing - feels like i am having a c-section every month!

Is this pain/tenderness you're having happening even AFTER you've had the surgery?><

Yes, but that is only because they didn't get it all out. I think if I had been under a specialist in the first place it would have been a different matter, but the general gynae I saw was very nonchalant about the procedure as though it was something she could do in her sleep.

And, I must say it is nowhere near as bad, even though it is still there. It was much worse when it was a concentrated lump!

I'm not sure if it helps or not but I suffer with adhesions on my appendix scar and I feel lumps it's also very painful like you cant walk so I definitely keep on at them it's not ok to be just left! I hope you get everything sorted x

Yeah i got told adhesion pain too. They've seen these lumps on ultrasound and said they're just scar neuromas or adhesions. Were pretty adamant to repeat scans because well that was the diagnosis so that's that!. >< won't even entertain the idea that it could be something else.

It is so frustrating! some will operate others wont I just got told to make your name known by gyni. It is very difficult like if it affects your qualty of life then I'd keep on and hopefully they can do something. I know I had mine removed December and I never had any relief only I could stand straight but the last two months the same pains and restricted movement is back 😣😤

That's why I've been avoiding surgery ><. I don't think i have heard one person on here who has said that surgery was great and now she's pain free. If anything they seem to be feeling worse.
