I have recently found out my bowel is attached to my uterus from an emergency c-section I had 2 yrs ago. Going for an MRI tomorrow. Has anyone else gone through this? What was the outcome?

Not exactly the same, but my bowel was distorted by endo adhesions and attached by a 3 cm Endo nodule to my vagina.

I recently had excision surgery, a bowel shave and vaginal repair which was so far as I can tell successful.

My bowel and uterus were stuck together. I had an obliterated pouch of douglas and a large rectovaginal nodule. Due to this and the endo I had everywhere else plus adenomyosis, I had a hysterectomy with removal of fallopian tubes and ovaries plus excision of all the endo back in March. No longer in any pain but it hasn't resolved my bowel issues quite as much as I'd hoped and surgical menopause is quite challenging (I'm 39). But overall pleased with the outcome of the surgery.

Hi, I also have problems now due to having an emergency C-Section. I haven't had treatment yet as it seems what I have is very rare and I'm struggling to find a professional with experience- I don't want to end up with more problems after surgery.

Do you have endometriosis from the C-section too?

Hi, yes mine is rare too.

My gynaecologist hasn't even seen such a thing. She has heard and read about it but now she has a case (aka - me) she is trying to line up a specialist for me to see. Had MRI today, I guess they/she wants everything to present to specialist regarding me and this problem. I am 35 and I have only the one child. My dream and goal was that I always wanted 2. Just 2.. now that may not happen because of this. Not sure what the specialist will have to say but the more I think about it, the more questions I have. I'm not 100% sure regarding the endometriosis, I've goggled it and I still don't really understand what it is.. Please enlighten me in your own words. But yer, the bowel and uterus is a big deal atm. We weren't and aren't trying and luckily we ain't I guess. 😔 We were going to at the end of August- But not now.?😔

With these problems that we all have I just hope that there must be someone out there that has the knowledge and experience to fix us. I'm the same as you, I still don't quite understand endometriosis, especially the form I have. I hope things get sorted for you soon. Have they said if you will be able to try for a baby once this is all fixed?
