PERIOD AFTER LAPAROSCOPY

Hey,

Did anyone else get a REALLY bad period after their lap? If so will it pass after a few days? Went out for a cycle and that seemed to upset the situation! eeeeeek.

Hello. Yes it's pretty normal to get a few bad periods after surgery. As you're still healing inside so it can be worse than before for the first few. But after a few months it should ease up

Hey, yeah I was the exact same but In my case I had very heavy bleeding for about 10 days after my surgery and now I’m nearly at 2 months from my surgery and I haven’t had a period, my doctor gave me the marina coil and that’s help! Do you have the coil?

I bled for about a week after my surgery, and then my first period was the worst I have ever had! But the ones that followed after that were so much better, as someone else said you are still healing inside so that doesn’t help things, but hopefully your next one wont be as bad x
