Hi,

Does anyone experience pain when your bladder fills up? If so, have yous mentioned it to your consultants? Did they do anything? I see my consultant tomorrow and don’t want to waste my time building my hopes up of them doing something when in reality they won’t

I have awful pressure when my bladder is full and it used to be very painful but not anymore.

But I sometimes get pain when emptying my bladder, but in my ovaries (my endo affects my ovaries more so perhaps this is not surprising).

I mentioned it to my gynaecologist and he gave me anti-inflammatories which did help. I'll have my 3 month review soon and he might suggest something else then (I hope).

I would mention this to your Dr as they may be able to do something about it or suggest a different type of treatment. It's also best to build a history in case it becomes problematic later on.

I hope it goes well for you tomorrow 💕💕💕💕💕

Hi

I suffered the same but more after my first lap in August. It was really painful to hold even for 2mins. I would leave the toilet in agony. I had my3 month follow up and told my endo surgeon he did a urine test and said I had urine infection which was a little surprising as I suffered with this pain before surgery and then more after surgery so he gave me antibiotics after 7 days it cleared up. Shocked! I have no bowel, bladder or ovary pain. I am still getting lower back pain and thigh pain so he referred me for a MRI next week x

I did before I had surgery. I had an endometrioma on my overly that was the size of a large grapefruit. It was pushing on my bladder (and displacing many other organs).

I have endo on my bladder and get excruciating pain and it also makes me really agitated and anxious. I now have a suprapubic catheter as I could no longer pass any urine. I had multiple infections. I can recommend D Mannose supplements which help keep a healthy, infection free bladder. You can buy them from Amazon. They are amazing! Definitely mention it as anything could be related to endo. I have lost some feeling in my leg and foot and that is due to endo and no where near my pelvis. So yes please ask. Please feel free to message me any questions bladder endo related. Xx

My endo caused me horrible pain with a full bladder and when I'd empty my bladder, I also felt a urge to go to the toilet frequently. I had another lap procedure done 2 months ago and endo was removed from my bladder and around it, I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. No pain, I can sleep the whole night without getting up to go. It has been a huge relief.

Thanks for replying! That’s so interesting, I literally thought I was going mad and that the pain was just in my head. I saw my bowel consultant on Tuesday and he’s writing to my gynae consultant letting him know that he thinks I need another lap so fingers crossed!!!!
