Pain when toileting.

Hi, I've used this site quite a few times but anyway, I have endo, my consultant suggested trying to tri-cycle my pill so I have and I'm to see her in 8 days. Anyways all my symptoms are still very much there & now for the past 4/5 days my tummy has been sore, it hurts all the time and when I sit down I get a quick sharp pain in it. And when I empty my bowels or urinate it hurts my tummy. All this is in the exact same place. Do you think it's related? I'm gonna tell my consultant anyway cause tbh I'm sick of the pain & feel like I'm gonna be living like this the rest of my life!

Hi Hun yes this is all to do with having endo because I have the same problem I scream in agony when I open my bowels, and I have been reading up on it and it does say the most pain is when opening your bowels just stick to your guns and tell your consultant about these problems!!

I completely understand you and wish you all the best hopefully soon you'll be pain free. God bless xx

Hi Samredgrift,

Yes I know exactly what you mean. I am on the same tri-cycling treatment and I have the same pain..but then my pain used to be all the while. It is not so constant anymore. Through prayer I discovered that if I don't miss a meal the pain doesn't start. Of course the side effect is that I am gaining weight rapidly, but I prefer the weight to the constant pain. I also take Indomethacin. Anyone else out there taking that? I hope when you talk to your consultant she will have some ray of hope for you.

Hi I know what u mean when I open my bowels I have to take bucket with me as the pain makes me physically sick. I had a lap 5 wks ago and the endo is on my bowel bladder ureters ovaries. They removed what they could but not able to remove it all. I also now use catheters to empty my bladder because of the pain and also I don't empty fully cause of the pain I stop short. So keep pushing them n hope u get somewhere.

Definitely. I used to have pain when emptying my bowel, which was really sharp. And pain when my bowel was full. I had a radical excision of my endo, and they removed two sections of my bowel where the endo had grown inside it. Also it was all over my bladder and urether too.

xx

I'm in the same place as yourself and others, going to the loo in any capacity gives a lot of pain. I'm waiting on my 2nd lap and it can't come soon enough. I'm on IBS treatment and it's doing a little to help because without it the pain is worse, but sadly it's not doing enough. Hope you get it sorted soon
