Hi everyone, I was diognosed with endometriosis a couple of years ago after having my first surgery.. I am unfortunately scheduled in for my second surgery.. has anyone ever experienced shooting pain almost as if your being stabbed up into their rectom area all the time especially when sitting down! I have explained this to my consultant and she suspects the Endo is the cause.

Yes definitely and my main symptom is extreme pain just before defaecation. So bad that I pass out at times. Sounds very much like endometriosis to me. I have been using acupuncture to help with the pain and so far it is working, might be worth a try?

Yeah I get this. My gynacologist actually knew what I was going on about because I felt a bit stupid explaining it but she said like having a hot poker up your bum. After my surgery she said I had endo on my pouch of Douglas and this can cause that kind of pains.
