Just wondered if anyone else has horrendous ovary ripping like pain when moving? even when not on your period?
I have had awful pulling and ripping pain in my ovaries along with all the other leg, thigh, hip and lower back pain for ages- but usually just when I'm on.
Came off about a week and a half ago and the pains have not stopped 
Any suggestions for any kind of relief?
Hope some people are having a fun bank holiday weekend and not too may of us are stuck on the sofa 😓

I think u might have a cyst on your ovary or could possibly be symptoms of endometriosis I would go and c your gp and ask him to refer u to gynaecolgy and c if they can send u for a scan I get the same kind of pain when I'm on my period but never seems to ease when I finish I had a lap in January this year and had aheasions in my pouch of Douglas plus stage 2 endometriosis in my womb and only been pain free 4 months and pain come back with avengance but don't c gynaecology till end of September getting really fed up xc

I had a lap two years ago and they found endo between my bowel and womb and I'm convinced it's back. I've got an MRI booked for 2 weeks time. Then will hopefully see the Gynae after. I will make sure they look at my ovaries on the scan too. I'm just so fed up with the pain
I'm the same Hunni getting so fed up I'm convinced my endo is back as was pain free for four months and ended up back In hospital cause of the pain doctors have asked for gynaecology to see me sooner but was ment to be seen by gynae again In may but moved me to September I think the doctors are getting fed up with me but pain is really getting me down xx
Hi Katie, I feel exactly the same!I've been looking forward to the bank holiday but I've just been in pain with the same symptoms as you. So fed up so you get all my sympathy. My period was over a week ago too. I posted on here myself looking for advice. Plus I've been exhausted and feeling a bit sick this weekend. I have a cyst on my ovary so I'm guessing that's what I can feel. Have you had an ultrasound recently to make sure you haven't got one too? I've been taking ibuprofen. It dulls the pain enough to get off the sofa!Sorry but beyond that I have no other wise words just wanted you to know you're not alone! Hope you feel better soon

I'm not sure about having a scan- I've had one before. It should show up when I have the MRI if there is anything there.
I just want some pain relief! I was in hospital last week because of the pain and and morphine while I was there which was amazing. Got sent home with tramadol and that doesn't even seem to do anything 😒
Constant pain is so exhausting too!

Thanks. Yeah I'm sure it will seen then.Be worth telling them your symptoms and suspicions. Apart from the ibuprofen I've just been using a hot water bottle. I find that helps me sleep if nothing else! I haven't been bad enough to need a hospital though.You've maybe even had a cyst rupture (mine did in June)? Sorry again, I have more sympathy than solutions!!xx
I have the same problems, along with tingling sensations down my leg and across my stomach on one side. Only to be told time and time again that endo wouldn't cause this. I had a coil and the pain and numbness almost completely disappeared for a while then it fell out due to heavy periods and hey presto pain and numbness now back with avengence. Due to see the consultant once again to try and get then to listen to me.
It's so stressful isn't it. And the stress and anxiety just makes the pain worse. I have to choose between taking tramadol to reduce the pain and being out of it (and still having shooting pain) or try not to take any pain killers to function.
Just wish doctors would take it seriously. More needs to be done to make GPs aware of the signs and symptoms and not just fob people off.
I guess Sweety2015, we just have to be persistent and not feel intimidated. We pay our taxes for the NHS and should benefit and have our health looked after.

I realize this is an older post, but feel like I should comment. I experienced seemingly exactly what many of you have, for years with no relief. However, last May, I discovered a treatment which has seemingly cured my endometriosis, PCOS, related pain, and ALL symptoms. Apparently, often times the ovarian pain that occurs as soon as your periods ends is due to cysts but reason for the timing cycle-wise is because it corresponds to the rising of estrogen and FSH so that an egg will be released from the ovary. During mid-end of your period and shortly thereafter, is when estrogen is on the rise...and may of us are apparently estrogen dominant which throws the body out of synch. I began using an over the counter progesterone cream (ProgesterAll) which is also available online. I used it religiously morning and night...into the second month of using it; huge results. No more cyclical migraines, horrible ovarian pain that lasted for days, cysts, or ANY of the terrible issues that I had been experiencing for years. I've currently been on it for right at a year and have never had such regular periods and been so pain free in many years. All of my migraines and 'sinus' migraines and allergies have quit too. I am not taking any birth control pills or anything that could possibly increase estrogen, as the progesterone naturally balances it and counteracts the effects of estrogen...thus, the ovarian pain from my ovaries being literally fried by too much estrogen has totally stopped... I first started experiences all of those symptoms with the use of birth control pills when in my early twenties...I am now in my mid thirties. This is just my personal experiences but please consider reading up on estrogen dominance and the use of progesterone to counteract too much estrogen! It literally gave my life quality again and ended all of my pain and the constant sickness.
