Pain when sitting down!

Hi all,

I’ve been getting awful pain in my lower abdomen and pelvic area when sitting down. It feels like there’s some blockage I’m sitting on and it’s so painful.

As in my previous posts, I’m undiagnosed and waiting for an ultrasound. And I’m paranoid they’re just going to say I have bad constipation or something!

But I’m sure that this pelvic pain isn’t normal, I feel like I can’t sit down because it feels like I’m sitting ON something inside of me! I have to lean back so I’m sitting on my tailbone rather then sitting down normally if that makes sense?

I hope this all does make sense, it’s so hard to describe.

Has anyone got any tips on what to do when this happens?

Hello, sorry I can't give you any advice but I can tell you you are not alone as I also have this issue, it feels like something is there that shouldn't be! I do have a bulky uterus and I have often wondered if that is the reason, but never really got any answers from gynecologist. Take care xx

Undiagnosed but have this I think it’s related to endo on the bowl as I’ve just started having bowl symptoms

Could be a nodule on the Douglas of pouch or something else. Please book an appointment with a highly skilled excision surgeon with extensive experience. They are the only trained OB/GYNs able to diagnose it and remove it effectively

I'm the same hun had ultrasound seen gynaecologist had biopsy and mirena coil still in agony, don't know what to do next appt 5th dec
