Hi Guys, Has anyone had to change their job due to Endo? For the last 7 years I have been doing office jobs, so sitting down in front of a computer. I had a laparoscopy in October and cleared the extensive endo. However despite being on a pill so I don't have periods, my symptoms have now come back. I have been getting really bad pelvic pain so when I stand up after sitting down at my desk, I can barely walk. So my question is 1) does anyone suffer from this and 2) can anyone think of good jobs you can do that don't involve sitting down all day every day? I know that is not an endo question but I know you ladies are all very knowledgeable and may be able to help! I have worked in a recruitment agency, payroll, admin and business support so it would be a change of career...I was thinking social or care work but have heard alot of bad things...all suggestions welcome! Thank you xx

Are you on any pain relief x
I have the same problem when I've been sat down for any length of time - whether it's work or in a car. It does make my pain much worse!! I just have to try and stand up regularly. Unfortunately I can't take strong painkillers (that help) as they make me too spaced out so it's hard to manage. Hope you find a way of dealing x
Have you heard of sit to stand desks? I got a medical letter for work to say I needed one to be able to work. They are amazing! And I use gel cushions when I do sit.
