Painful periods months after lap ?

So my lap was back in july and they removed some endo . Ever since my surgery my periods have been so bad maybe even worse then they was before . Literally a week before I’m due on I start getting pain . I don’t think the lap really helped at all I’m still really suffering . Is this normal ?

I am just having my first period after my lap and a course of provera tablets (which had stopped my period for 3 months). Its very painful, exactly like it was before the lap but they only found a small amount of endo, which they removed, so I was expecting this period to be 'normal' but it doesn't seem like there have been any improvements! Sadly I had my follow up with the gynecologist last week and told him everything seemed okay - Not sure whether I should go back now it seems it isn't!

Hey x thanks for your reply I was the same after the lap it was more painful then even before the lap , I waited a few months to see if the pain would improve as it was my first one after but now I’m on like my 3rd and it’s the same it’s awful so I rang the doctor today as I didn’t even have my follow up after my surgery so she’s now referred me again and also requested a scan . Maybe you should give them a call too or maybe wait to see if there’s any improvement xx

Yeah I think I shall see what the next few months are like! I guess there scaring there too which maybe isn’t helping!

And yes that’s true , Thanks hun ! I guarantee it will be a waiting game for a few months lol x
