Wait time following pre-op assessment ?

Hiya.

I had my pre-op assessment on Monday, May 20th for my upcoming diagnostic laparoscopy at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh. The nurse told me she didn't know what the wait list was like for the actual surgery date, but when I called I was told they aim for a date within 8 weeks.

Has anyone else been seen at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh? If so, how long was your wait for a surgery date after your pre-op assessment? I'm guessing that my surgery date will be sometime in July...
