Hello everyone!
Has anyone with a retroverted uterus had or heard about a surgery to make it go back to its normal position?
Thanks in advance xx

Are you experiencing some symptoms because of this? It's not dangerous or anything to have it like that so they wouldn't typically 'fix' it. Its pretty common.
I am actually, and it makes me confused if it's caused by endometriosis or something else. Since I was 14 I am having horrible period pain, heavy bleeding with clots, bad and painful bowel movement and when I got married and had a baby through c section I started having painful sex as if someone is stabbing me in my lower abdomen.
I feel like I am desperate for an answer to what is wrong with me, and correctly waiting for the date of my laparoscopy.
Best wishes xx
You could possibly have endo or scar tissue from your c-section causing you pain! I don't think that it is your retroverted uterus that is the problem! Many people are born with it and go their whole life not knowing they have it. I would speak to your family doctor and asked to be referred to a specialist.
I was thinking the same!
The good thing is that I am now seeing an endometriosis specialist and she's a nice understanding person.
Hi sorry to hear your suffering at the moment with this I’ve just had my lap might be handy to read my post about it as I’ve got a soft uterus and it’s Adenomyosis and I have endometriosis x
