I've had my follow up appointment after my lap and my consultant says my bowel is stuck to my uterus - he even showed me photos from the lap.
He said it's up to me how I manage it but really made me feel like I only had one choice. When I askwd what the options were he said:
1) continue as I am on the pill and put up with the pain because it's 'not that bad' - his words not mine
2) next stepup hormones that would make me put weight on and give me spots and 'you don't want that at 30 years old'
3) surgery to separqte and remove adhesions but at risk of damaging bowel
Soon after he was basically ushering me out saying how the pain isn't that bad and I can live with it. No other information.
Has anyone else had their bowel stuck to their uterus and how did they deal with it? Also is there anything I can do to manage it an avoid pain? Like any diets etc. I bloat very easily so I'm going to try to eat better.
Thanks!

My bowel was stuck to my womb and I had surgery to detach it whilst they cut out the endo found.
I had to have bowel prep before the operation to make sure it was empty.
There's risk with every operation you have but the guarnotologist who does it will either be very well trained at doing it or need to get a bowel specialist to join them if they think it's needed. They would tell you the risks involved and everything before you agree to it.
Is it a GP you are seeing or a specialist endometriosis guarnotologist?
I also had my bowel stuck to my womb. I had excision surgery at an endometriosis specialist centre. If your not with a specialist, I would recommend getting referred to one before you make any decisions on how to move forward. Here’s the link to find one close to you and ask gp to refer you bsge.org.uk/centre/
Well I’m a stage3 fellow patient. And I was advised to manage endo with pills. As whenever they’ll do it , it will be quite extensive so they want us to finish ur fertility business and then go for an excision .
Yes actually he’s right . That’s d irony if it all . Yes I’ve got myself referred to endo specialist from d age of 23 . I’ve been suffering and trying to conceive. Let’s see what holds in my future
