Can anyone help? I saw a consultant a couple of weeks ago who did a prescription for me to take to my GP, the prescription was for Cerazette. The pill was prescribed to try and control my pain not necessarily as a contraceptive. I have collected my prescription from the pharmacy today and I have been given Zelletta. I know it may we daft but I don't want to take it because if not what the consultant wrote on the prescription, the GP surgery has just changed it to the cheaper version, has anyone took had issues like this before? Should I ask the GP for Cerazette or should I just start the Zelleta?
Thanks for any advice

I was on cerazette for about 6/7 years until my pharmacy changed to the cheaper version Zelleta. I haven't necessarily seen any many changes with the cheaper brand apart from symptoms of possible endo more recently (I think it surpressed symptoms for a while). I don't think there is any difference in ingredients and I didn't see any obvious changes from one day taking cerazette to the next day taking Zelleta (it is just cheaper for them to use Zelleta even though it is the same).
