Hi my doctor has told me to double dose ceraztte to help stop periods worh adenomyosis has any one tried this and dis it work

I was told to start taking cerazette to help stop the endo growing back. I've recently started it and wondered what other peoples side affects were. if any? i've got a constant headache on one side and also constipation. has anyone else had constipation?

I’m still having heavy periods each month on the Desogestrel/Cerazette and wondering if it’s worth trying Noriday. I’ve tried the Depo injections, Norgeston too.

Could there be a link to Cerazette?

I had excision surgery in April 23 and was prescribed zalkya instead of cerazette. It’s been difficult to get from pharmacies however the pharmacy gave me dimitrum this time and by the time I’d got home and noticed it was different they were closed for the holidays.

They out me on the pill cerazette in an effort to stop my periods, immediately after starting Cerazette my symptoms vanished!! 10 months in and a lot of unpredictable bleeding it seems to of settled and my last two periods have started around the 1st every month.

At the time I took the Cerazette (0.075 mg progestogen) and Gynera (0.03 mg + 0.075 mg), to stop my menstruation and it kinda worked. I had surgery in 2014 and then I stopped the pill. I was fine for many years.

In this time I haven’t noticed any weight loss in fact I seem to be gaining even more, even though my appetite has returned back to normal now I have stopped Cerazette.

Hello All, I’ve been taking Cerazette for 2 months now to slow the growth of Endometriosis after my laparoscopy. I don’t feel myself at all, I feel very anxious, very low and irritable. I’m sure it’s this pill. It’s also affecting my sleep. Has anyone had anything similar?

I am in pain most of the time but it usually isn't too bad as I take Cerazette (contraceptive pill). I stopped taking my pills 6 months ago as I was due to start fertility treatment (egg freezing) and that's when it went a bit crazy. Pain is horrible and hormones are a bit allover the place.

I tried Lovima and Cerazette but had very severe mood swings, where I started to fear I'd need medication of some sort. It was horrible. I was on Norgeston for about 2 days and then I completely stopped taking the mini pill after discussing with GP.

I already take cod liver oil on top of my prescribed fluoxetine, Levo, cerazette (birth control) and loratadine(antihistamine). Can I take everything bar the Levo at the same time? also wondering if anyone has done Izabella Wentz Hashimotos protocol?

I’ve tried the Mirena coil, decapeptyl 3 monthly injections with Tibilone and currently on Cerazette. I’m also on the waiting list for surgery at a BSGE centre. My question is how did everyone weigh up what surgery to have?

due to the pain and fatigue and so I was referred back to both gastro and gynae 3 years ago – ovarian cyst, long bleeds and bowel bleeding again and decided mirena coil seemed to have stopped working/being effective and so they changed this while I waited for the consultant appointments and added cerazette

First time poster, but I’ve taken many tips from this board so thank you all in advance. 2 years ago I doubled over in agony, eventually got sent to A&E via my GP with suspected appendicitis. Iv been on this pill cerazette for 4 months now and for the last two months Iv been having nights sweats and hot flushes, slight dizziness Iv had blood tests and nothing came back abnormal, anyone else having this problem????

After the lap, my surgeon recommended I go on cerazette, but the last few days I have been getting really heavy bleeding.

I have the implant for contraception and she has put me on Cerazette for pain management. Previously had 2 Laps, the first (2015) was quite horrific and they had to 'unstick' my left ovary and zap away lots of adhesions. Second time (2018) just got a letter quoting 'adhesions' and no follow up.

In November 2021 I was given the pill Cerazette to stop my period, with the theory that if I didn’t have a period I wouldn’t have had pain.
