Is bleeding after taking serrapeptase normal?

Greetings everyone, I've started on serrapeptase for about a week now taking 2X40,000iu per day and after 4 days i started experiencing sharp pain in my blocked tube as well as experiencing headaches and little blood whenever i wipe with a tissue. The bleeding is not causing any stain on my undies just that whenever i pee that's when the drops come out. Is this normal? FYI i'm not on any other medication apart from the serra itself. Please help

I’ve never experienced bleeding: But as it dissolves old tissue it could be releasing some old blood somewhere: is it dark like old blood? Serra can act as a mild blood thinner as well, so if there’s some irritated tissue in there it’s possible it has made it bleed.

The blood is new blood like period but the funny thing is it only comes out when i pee, even when we do the activity theres no bleeding only when i pee. I've since stopped taking it but it still comes after every time at the loo. Thankyou for the response.

That’s unusual, So when your bladder contracts you get some spotting: is the blood in your urine? Or is it coming out of your vagina for sure? I would stop the serrapeptase and see if this resolves and if not see your dr.

I did stop using it on the 13th. Yes when my bladder contracts that's when the drops come out but at the very end of the pee,. The urine itself does not have blood.

I'm having this exact same issue. Did you ever get the resolved? I'm 5 years late but this the only post that relates to what I'm experiencing using serra. Thanks!

Hi Heavenwings35, are you using serra for unblocked tubes? I have started to take it few days ago and I am feeling OK. Please let me know how did you get on I know this post is from 7 months ago.

I experienced serious side effects from taking serrapeptase for about 13days.I would get diarrhoea and crazy vomiting,I would stop for a few days then restart and the same thing happened I had to stop.I was taking 250'000iu 4times a day which is the only one available in my country. I lowered the dose to one a day after the horrible reaction but no change.I was diagnosed with blocked tubes.Unlike you, i never got any bleeding or pain. I read on another forum some women would notice some tissue or clots coming out.Now am taking some other herbal stuff from India that was recommended by a different gyna.Once I complete the four months dose this December and hopefully conceive successfully I will write all about it.

I was taking serrapeptase 3months. I started out with one 40,000iud a day and slowing increased to 720,000iud a day. I started spotting just like you did on the 5th of march but since it was very light i continued to use serrapeptase. I read others woman saying it can happen because it breaks up fibrin. Then after having a period i expected it to stop. It got heavier which scared me. I stopped taking it which was about a week ago when i notice clotting and increased pain in my back and pelvis where the blocked tube is. This has turned into a nightmare. Im still bleeding. Tomorrow makes 3weeks. Very heavy bleeding now. Pelvic pain and low back pain every couple hours. No changes. Doctor prescribed me medroxyprogesterone for 10 days that was suppose to stop the bleeding. Im done with the bottle today and im still bleeding. Going back to the doctor on the 28th. I cry everyday because this is scary when all my test were negative and also normal pap test. 😭😭😭 i just want to go back to a normal cycle

Yes my fast eager self took 4 120,000 uti tabs yesterday morning and now I'm in constant pelvic pain with old blood when I wipe. I have very severe adenomyosis and endometriosis with a huge uterus so I should have taken it easy I guess.
