Does the endo diet really work?

Following my recent endo diagnosis I want to give myself the best chance I can to delay the regrowth of what I have had excised. During surgery my surgeon fitted me with the coil but I’ve read lots on here about the endo diet. I was just wondering what the evidence is? Are there any research articles people can point me to? Giving up gluten, dairy etc would be a massive thing for me (I fricking love food) so i’d like to have all the information I can get in order to make my decision. If anyone can talk about their experiences and point me to any research / medical expert opinion too I’d be very grateful!
