I have my hysterectomy next week and wondered if anyone has some tips for what to take with me in my hospital bag. 😊

My mum had one a few years back and one thing she said she wanted more than anything was big comfy fat knickers and comfy soft pyjamas that didn't dig into her stomach so maybe a couple of sizes too big. The main thing for her was comfort.

Also maybe some face wipes. She wasn't able to move much but wanted to feel clean.

Sweets, flip flops ones without the cross shape, you’ll be wearing hospital stockings so you need slide your foot through. Get water proof ones. Snacks. Water bottles. The hospital will give you hospital knickers if not you can get them from amazon - c-section knickers. Shower gel, tooth paste, tooth brush, brush. Lip salve / lip balm. A towel! Pads if you have preferred ones - hospital again will provide these. Magazines! Films for your phone! Or iPad! Etc it’s boring and your not that mobile. You will be asleep or recovering most of the time. I hope it all goes well.
