Black stools? Sorry if tmi

Going to ring my GP tomorrow but has anybody else had this? Waiting to see the gynaecologist for a first appointment to see if I have endo but had this today with a bad flare up of the pain.

Yes this period i got black stools I don’t know why i also had nausea which freaked me out that i may have cancer

Did you know what caused it ?

Still no idea! I did get an emergency GP appointment, had emergency bloods and an emergency stool sample taken but both tests were fine and I haven’t had a reoccurrence since. Black stools can happen if you have too much caffeine or take iron supplements (neither of which apply to me as I gave up caffeine in January and didn’t take multivitamins or any other supplements at the time) so it could have an innocent cause but obviously really important to touch base with your doctors surgery as soon as possible to find out.

Before i poop i ate spinach which i think it affected and i ate black brownies also and i ate it in empty stomach more than one pieces

But after 4 day of that day i had to poop for the second time btw I don’t poop every day and it was semi black mabye I didn’t empty my bowel at the first day

But i have to go to the hospital i live without eating for many days even drink water makes me nauseous today i just drink one cup of milk i lost a lot of weight 💔

Hi, i have endo on my bowel and i often have black stools especially if I’m really constipated or if I haven’t drank enough. Hope this helps x
