Endo belly tonight. I’m in pain constantly, but get Day/nights where it’s worst than others. Seeing an Endo specialist on the 7th of feb and can honestly say I’m so on edge about it as I haven’t had a great experience so far with being listened too. Iv be in constant pain and not able to work for nearly two years. I was diagnosed with endometriosis by laparoscopy on the 14/12/16. And since then iv still been in pain. I havent been given any painkillers despite of me asking, I hoping I’ll be listened to and helped as the only thing I have is paracetamol, ibuprofen and a hot water bottle that is glued to my stomach all the time.

My endo belly is so bad, tried gluten dairy free diet and there isn’t any difference. I’ve just bought a load of essential oils and I’m about to have a bath with them in because my belly is massive today.. I’ll let you know if it makes any difference x
I spent half an hour in the bath with 6 different types of oils in it, I was so relaxed when I come out and lay on the couch with pjs and a hot water bottle but the pain is now back. I’d say it lasted a good 6 or so hours so I’m going to keep trying it maybe the more I do it the longer being pain free will last I’m not sure. It’s worth a try though x
Glad it worked a little while for you, what oils did you use? May give it a go! Better than nothing, may relax enough before bed to sleep a little while x
Yeah if it’s used before bed it’ll probably be better I used it about lunchtime. I used clary sage, rosemary, frankincense, geranium, eucalyptus and lavender x
I hope your meeting goes ok - I've got one on the 6th Feb and I've already got a list of questions to pester the gynae with! I get awful endo belly too - and people don't understand how painful and demoralising it is. I've been experimenting with peppermint tea, before and after a meal, and that seems to be having an effect xx
I know this feeling. I haven’t been diagnosed with endo but some days I get so bloated I look pregnant. Makes me feel really down cause I just Look huge, I’m trying to loose weight as it is and when I’m so bloated it does really effect my mood!
Noooo u should have more help then that u need to go to dr and get some naproxen( better for stomach and slow releasing) and some cocodamol 30/500mg if u cant get them go to pharmacy u can get 8/500 over the counter as u need the codeine , paracetamol alone will not touch period pains or endo.
What i found is if u have a idea as when u come on start taking them a couple days before u actually come on and the pain is not as bad...
Also try peppermint oil capsules from holland and barratt for the bloatedness and that horrible full feeling it really works.....
Main thing do not wait for specialist get to gp for pain relief.... or at least stronger otc meds
