Soo fed up!

Hey everyone!

So jus lying in bed another night with hot water bottle and pills! Back pain leg pain and abdominal pain breast pain my whole body feel’s achy every single day! I’m getting to the point I’m soo fed up! Still no word on my app for laparoscopy... I was at my gynae special app start of December , she said I should have app within 12 weeks , I thought I would have had at least a letter... so frustrating! I’m on a lot of tablets for pain but now I’m having to double up on my medication as the pain won’t go away!! I’m so baffled with the leg pain I’m still limping! I’m not sure If it is endo related or if it a muscle injury that I don’t know how I’ve got...

Q: when I got my coil taken out I’ve only had 1 day period’s for 3 months now, but feels like I’m on a period almost every day .. anyone else experience this? I’m not sure if it because I have hemoragic cyst’ s in my right and left ovary...

I’m jus having a moan lol! I’m soo fed up!

Big hugs. So sorry you are in so much pain. Hope you get that letter soon. It's a glum time of year at the best of times but particularly with Endo periods!

Sending virtual hugs! I hope you feel better soon, the constant pain is a nightmare. I hope you get comfy soon! I got my lap appointment letter through two weeks before op, so at least when the letter does come there shouldn't be too much of a wait. I hope yours comes through soon! Can you ring the secretaries or admissions department to see where you are on the surgical list? Then you can get an estimate of ballpark idea of when your op will be? Thanks! I hope I don’t have to wait too long! Yeah I was thinking of giving them a call on Monday, my Mum was saying with being Christmas and new year that prob why I’ve not received a letter yet , so now everything all bk to normal with after festive period hopefully I hear soon ! Xx

Ah bank holidays delays everything don't they!? Hope you had a good festive time though and enjoyed it despite the pain. Calling Monday is a good idea, then u have a plan and can hopefully relax over the weekend? Xx

Yeah I made sure u was stocked up on maedication and hot water bottle’s it was a good time thanks hope you had a good one too... yeah I’ll defo phone no harm in asking... thanks xx

It’s so hard to deal with the ongoing pain. Mine was crippling all last week, so bad I called my hospital’s gynae ward and asked them what meds I should take in the absence of a date for seeing consultant and probably a second laparoscopy. They advised paracetamol, ibuprofen and codeine all at once. But on my worst day that didn’t touch it, just made me feel very spacey. I feel so sad and frustrated. It’s very hard. I hope you get an appt very soon.
