I'm new - endometrial ablation seems to have failed

Hi all.

I've been a member here for a while but not really posted. Feel like a newbie again.

I'm 42. Had a novasure ablation last year in Jan. It the last three months I'm getting the worst pain ever which I suspect is when my period should have been. It's like being in labour. I can't walk. The whole of abdomen is raw and swollen.

I'm at my wits end. I have a scan this Thursday.

I'm ready for a hysterectomy. But my right ovary is stuck to my bowel so they are reluctant to go down that road.

I'd really like to hear from anyone else who has had an ablation / hysterectomy. I want to make an informed decision. Will the hysterectomy rid me of endo even if one ovary is left in?

Thanks so much
