Just fed up and down

Hi girlies, sorry I've never done this before but i just have to let some things off my chest and i feel here is the best place. I have been diagnosed with endo around 2 years ago and had 1 lap to remove it. I'm currently on the evra patch because i kept getting side effects from other pills. I am going through such a stressful time in my life. I just got married 3 months ago and i live with my partner and his mum and sister and so much has happened already its unreal. I havent been treated properly by his mum or sister since the day i arrived and things escalatd and i got told to leave by his sister. My husband's very supportive and we found a place to move in the end we couldn't because his mum and sister are unable to support themselves financial so we have to stay. Ontop of that i may be made redundant in feb and i feel isolated, alone, fed up and i can't remember the last time i genuinely was happy and laughed. I am so tired of this pain and its just getting worse with all this stress and i get no help from his mum to make me food when I'm sick like my mum used to do and theres only so much my husband can do. I can't take the stress purely because of the impact it has on my body and i can't keep pushing myself to go into work and lead a 'normal' life. Sorry for the rant i just cant cope and i feel so lost x

Hi,

I hear your pain and as a fellow sufferer I know how much a heavy toll endo can take on ones personal life. I am not married so other people might have a better opinion on dealing with in-laws. But it seems that there's issues on communication and expectations. Maybe your in-laws just don't understand how much pain you go through with endo so they might not be so proactive in helping out. Maybe just focus on dealing with a problem one at a time. First, Since you are living with them maybe ask your husband's help to be on a more friendly term with them first ? Second, with regard to redundancy , you are not sure yet. Even if it's true, you will have some time to readjust and reevaluate your potential maybe that you are not truly fulfilled in your current job anyways? At least you have your husband to fall back which is better than being a single mom per se.

I hope these help and I am sure you will tackle your problems eventually and most importantly don't be too affected by what other people say and do. Just keeping loving yourself. Pay attention and care for your health and body and I am sure it will pay off eventually. Nobody can take care of you better than yourself.

Love,

Chelsea
