Oh the pain. Can someone enlighten me about ovulation.

At the moment it has just attacked me. The first thing I've done is taken ibuprofen and got a hot water bottle. It's a horrible pain similar to early labour pains. Very low abdominal, both hips and back. Stabby burning and dragging.

I don't know if I have endometriosis yet. I'm currently waiting for an ultrasound. I'm 4 days after my period ends, is this symptomatic of endo ? I must be ovulating as I've other symptoms of ovulation. Didn't realise we could ovulate this soon.

I forgot to mention I can't walk while it attacks and it stems from my right side where I get daily aches.

Im not sure if your ovulating you know your cycles much better than I. I know I ovulate bang on the 7the day after my period ends I'm a typical 28day cycle. But I can relate to what your describing and it started taking me by surprise when I stopped breasfeeding my daughter burning twisting dragging barb wire type position can't sit up walk stand straight shooting pains up both ends absolutely horrific. I personally would pick labour contractions over that pain any day. Anyhow. In Feb I had a Lap and dye and they found my tubes were blocked partially which is what was causing the pain. I had a c section with my daughter so I put it down to that I started taking serrapeptase to help clear adhesions and now the pain is no more just an ache in my hip and back and I feel sore nothing compared to what I suffered with before. Get a heat pad and wrap it round you and take your pain meds and breathe through it I know it's hard. Sometimes I used to just cry because nothing would help. Hope you start feeling better soon 💗🤗😘

Thank you dear. It's awful isn't it. I don't understand why it's happening at this time. It usually happens around ovulation or during my period. I can't work it out. As I'm going to have to know for when I see the gaenocoligist.

Don't know yet I'm waiting for the letter. Only went to see the GP a few days ago. I'll be having an ultrasound on the 24th. Thank you

Have you tried jumping into a nice warm bath yet?

Oh yes. I do that every day. A bath is a great pain reliever isnt it . The Nurofen takes the edge off but it's still painful. It's like heavy period pain but no period.

Thank you.
