I'm hibi scrubbed and now halfway through picolax. I'm due round 2 of pico at 7 and at hospital at 2 pm. Surgery is not scheduled till 5.30 and is meant to be 2 and a half to 3 hours so it's gonna be a long day. Due to stay 2 or 3 nights in hospital, so should be home by Friday. Fingers crossed it goes okay!!!

Hi. Hope it all goes well, take a book to pass the time. Thinking of you. Xx
Thanks everybody for the moral support over these past months.
Back in the land of the living. I was unlucky and got vomiting on Picolax so was on a drip all afternoon. Operation took 5 hours rather than the 2.5. They found much more endo than expected. I've had to have some of my vagina removed as well as my bowel but no stoma and no resection, yay. They also found and removed endo on my bladder womb and right and left side of my womb. wonder what good the mirena and Zola did since my Dec lap. I've been catheterised but is a good thing. Anaesthetist was great. It turned out to be the one I met in advance as I went in overnight and he knew how scared I was about waking in in the extreme pain like last time. So post op recovery much less traumatic and I have PDA morphine yay so quite fuzzy still. I see Mr Morris this evening for more details. Hubby very relieved. X I don't think I'd have survived and got through this without the support of you guys thanks to you all xxxxxx
Great news, hope you recover soon and this is the start of an Endo problem free life
Mini update: Mr Morris came round this evening. Apparently my case was as severe as it could be and not have a resection so guess I am glad I didn't leave it longer that is why the op went on so long.
I have lost 4 cm of my vagina in the process as it was so deeply embedded but he's stitched it up in a way that should help it still err work. He said he is going to use my case and the video of the surgery for his BSGE review!
Lol Fabbird no I didn't. ! It's.only sinking in really how lucky I have been. One of the nurses got all choked up funnily enough, it turned out it was because I was by far the worst case of endo she'd seen since her own (she had grade 5 two kids via ivf and a hysterectomy at 32. ) I am officially grade 4. She has made me promise to write to her in a few months saying how much better I feel.
So very glad it is all over.
